Counselling for Youth
Youth go through a number of transitions during their developmental years and can often feel overwhelmed by these changes. During these stages youth may be experimenting with sexuality, various identities and different socio-cultural circles. Youth may feel out of place in many social circles, and may feel misunderstood by their parents and caregivers, teachers and staff at school, or even their own peer circles. These years can also bring up experiences and struggles that require some assistance for youth to understand and resolve. It can often be helpful to engage with a professional during these formative years to help these individuals with any issues they have identified.
I believe in creating a space of acceptance and openness that will enable youth to explore their identities and struggles in a safe and productive manner.
